Overview of the Department
VISION OF DEPARTMENT:
- To give the detailed knowledge of human biochemistry to 1styear MBBS Students, which will help them to correlate the importance of the knowledge of clinical biochemistry in the modern medicine.
- This will also ensure that an IMG (Indian Medical Graduate) will be able to diagnose different diseases on the basis of analysis and interpretation of various clinical biochemistry laboratory investigations.
MISSION OF DEPARTMENT:
- To provide Diagnostic services at Central Biochemistry Laboratory to various patientsof general hospital, Palanpur which can enhance the health matrix of people of Banaskantha district.
- To enhance the learning of MBBS students by giving them detailed exposure during their elective clinical posting at clinical biochemistry laboratory.
- To provide hands on experience to interns during their rotatory internship at laboratory medicine posting, so they can understand and apply concepts and learning’s of clinical biochemistry laboratory during their future clinical practice.
