VISION OF DEPARTMENT:
The Dermatology Department at our medical college aspires to be a center of excellence in dermatology, delivering high-quality education, research, and compassionate patient care. We aim to foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, advances dermatological knowledge, and nurtures the next generation of dermatologists. We aim to develop good infrastructure, which would be well equipped with all the lasers and can be used for scar removal, hair removal, tattoo removal, mole excision, phototherapy unit for vitiligo patient and radiofrequency for dermatological causes. We aim for specialty clinicslike leprosy, vitiligo, psoriasis, vesiculobullous diseaseclinics. Our vision is to be at the forefront of dermatological advancements, improving skin health and enhancing the quality of life for our community and beyond.
MISSION OF DEPARTMENT:
The mission of the Dermatology Department is to provide comprehensive education and training to medical students and residents, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in dermatology. Our mission is to provide compressive knowledge about various dermatological diseases to medical students and provide care and treatment to the patients with a holistic approach and with evidence-based treatment and proper diagnose. Our department is committed to extending compassionate and patient-centered care, ensuring the highest standards of dermatological health for our patients. Through community outreach and inter-departmental collaboration, we strive to promote skin health awareness and address dermatological needs of the community.

The outpatient unit of Dermatology is situated in D block, Room number 6.
Number of units: 1
Monday to Friday – 09:00 am to 01:00 am and 02:00pm to 05:00pm
Saturday – 09:00am to 01:00pm
Total Indoor patient capacity: 10 (5 male + 5 female), B Block
